Protected branch "Roles" menus could display more useful text

(This is a proposal for a design enhancement.)

In the settings/repository page, I see this for the protected master branch:

"1 role, 0, users, an…" is really not useful. I can imagine improving this with a few conditions:

• If there is a single selected item, e.g. "Masters+Developers", just show that.
• If there are just multiple roles or multiple users, show "2 roles" or "2 users", etc.
• Similar for "2 roles, 2 users". I don't even know what the third category is because it is truncated!
