Work items - Child items list occasionally re-truncates unexpectedly

In certain cases (specific causes TBD) a work item with many child items will hide already loaded items behind the "Load more". Each time "Load more" is pressed additional items are loaded and shown, however at some point the list snaps back to only show the inititial list. On the next "Load more" all previously loaded items are shown.
