Problem to solve

As announced in at KubeCon NA 2024, Nginx-Ingress will be superseded by InGate. Together with the announcement, Nginx-Ingress was moved to maintenance mode. There are plans to support migration as InGate matures. There will be a time, when Nginx-Ingress will be EOLed.

We should make sure that we offer an alternative in time to allow our users to migrate to that alternative. This alternative might be InGate or another solution, like Traefik.

Proposal

Change the Auto DevOps template to support other Ingress / Gateway API controllers than Nginx-Ingress.
