Expand the Mermaid markdown to include "Architecture Diagrams"

I like the basic "Mermaid" diagrams and using it to add diagrams for system connectivity and other diagrams to documentation, but the default Mermaid "flowchart" is limiting in that capacity.

What would it take to add the "Architecture Diagrams" - https://mermaid.js.org/syntax/architecture.html - that the Mermaid.JS.Org team is working on?

My company has license for on-premise GitLab installs, some in air-gapped environments so having a basic set of icons pre-included would be necessary in my situation.
