Problem to solve

As a Platform Engineer, I registered an agent without a configuration file, and I'd like to use functionality that requires a configuration. Please, make it easy for me to get started with a configuration ensuring that I don't lose any existing functionality.

Proposal

1. Add configuration view to the agent management page
2. Allow starting an MR from the view if no configuration is available using a wizard

The wizard could offer a few checkboxes:

• enable CI sharing
• enable user access through UI and terminal
• enable operational container security scan

based on the selections, we could generate a more feature-full configuration file for the MR.

The owner of the agent. Typically:

• Priyanka (Platform Engineer)
• Ingrid (Infrastructure Operator)

Feature Usage Metrics

• monthly number of agents receiving a configuration from the management page integration
