Move multiple deployment setting to project settings
Currently it is not possible to configure some pages settings without having an initial Pages deployment (and the pages onboarding process is complete).
There are three possible solutions that I consider:
- make the onboarding screen skippable: This would allow accessing pages settings before the pages pipeline is configured. Ideally there should be a prominent way to go back to the onboarding screen because people might still find it helpful. Since the whole idea of the onboarding screen was to reduce complexity religiously, I'd like to use this only if really necessary. So first, I'd love to think about if it's not a suboptimal design decision that led us to the need to skip this:
- Add a "Pages" Section to Settings > General and maintain all Pages-related Settings there. My preferred solution. Why would we maintain settings at different places in the app anyway?
- Add a "Pages" Section to the Settings Submenu there and maintain all pages relates Settings there. Better if we expect the settings list to grow. However, since we've only moved Pages out of settings a few years ago, this may cause confusion (although we only move the Settings there this time around)
