Automatically create an issue based on security vulnerabilities severity or type

My large Ultimate customer mentioned they’d love if there was a way to set up some kind of automatic notification based on severity level of findings for specific users (her sec team) or a way that GitLab would automatically create an issue based on the severity level or the type of vulnerability and assign to designated security team members. Is that something that has ever been brought up or would even be feasible? Happy to set up a call to flesh this out a bit more with the security lead who mentioned it. Thanks!
