Epic workflow feedback
@victorwu related to the comment in: gitlab-org/release/tasks#56 (comment 56616579).
When you work in the project, it is currently not possible to find the epic. You need to go to the group page and then find your epic. This will get better with https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ee/issues/4343 but it won't resolve the problem. You still need to go to the group page, and go through epics page to find the one you are looking for. You need to know that an epic is in a group, click on the group and then go to the epic. Given that it is a group oriented, this page is going to get big so finding something is not easy. For gitlab-org, there is already 50+ epics.
I would really ask you to put some urgency on https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ee/issues/4343, it is a pretty big usability problem.
Epics are also non-colaborative. With issue, you get the feedback in comments and you change the description right there. With epics, someone needs to create an issue to give you feedback and then you need to change its description. You also need to make sure you link the issue to the epic but just looking at the issues, it might not be possible to figure out where the change came from.
Only Master user can create an epic. I don't know why that is, but issues can be created by everyone.
Finally, if issue belongs to more than one epic, there is no way to get this marked in the issue. This can happen if two epics are dependent on the same issue. Related issues seem to work way better at the moment.
It could be that I am using epics wrong...
