Implement sorting of Global Search results

Proposal

Add the ability to sort results in Global Search.

For instance, this query seems to return results in an arbitrary order, whereas an increasing age (created_at/updated_at/last_edited_at) would be more useful. A typical sort dropdown with direction toggle would be ideal.
