Investigation: Use Kata containers to provide sudo access inside workspace

MR: Pending

Description

Kata containers is an open source container runtime, building lightweight virtual machines that seamlessly plug into the containers ecosystem. Currently supported hypervisors with Kata Containers include:

  • ACRN
  • cloud-hypervisor
  • firecracker
  • qemu
  • dragonball
  • StratoVirt

As a user or stakeholder, I want to use Kata containers to enable sudo access inside a workspace.

This issue will be an investigation into this approach.
