    @lorenzvanherwaarden thanks for working on this! And providing the other test repo, made the testing very easy 👍 Code wise it looks great 💯 But my screenshot is a tad different from yours. Which got me testing a bit more -- maybe we need to account for longer project names 🤔

    Btw, if you prefer to resolve this iteratively, I'm happy to approve this so not to block this. I'm guessing it might be a longer discussion and you might need to consult with UX on what a solution might be -- do you truncate or fit everything with multiple lines...

Verification steps

  1. go to https://gitlab.com/groups/gitlab-org/govern/threat-insights-demos/verification-projects/-/dependencies
  2. filter by projects "Security Reports with new pipeline listing page"
  3. click on the first link 1 Project in the Projects column (the indication of 1 project is incorrect, there's an open bug for this #473836)
  4. verify that in de dropdown, long project names are now truncated
