Tier Discussion: View roles and assigned users

Problem to solve

Customers will now be able to view a list of roles including both default and custom roles. Within the role details, they can see their associated permissions and assigned users. Given that the current view is accessible in Ultimate only, this page needs to be revisited from a tiering perspective.

Tier Proposal

The new feature set within this epic includes the ability to:

• Export a list of users and assigned roles in groups+projects
• View a list of roles including both default and custom roles
• Select a role, see role details, and users who are assigned the role

Based on the feature set and JTBD, this targets Directors-level reporting, therefore should fall into the Premium tier.

Impact

The current view* "Roles and permissions" is only accessible in Ultimate.

Premium:

• Export list of users and assigned roles in groups + projects
• View list of roles (default roles)
• View role, view role details, and assigned users

Ultimate:

• Premium +
• View list of roles (default roles + custom roles)
• Create and edit a custom role
