Understand Session duration feature restart requirement
Problem to solve
The session duration feature requires a GitLab restart when changed. Recently, a GitLab Dedicated customer[Internal link] enquired on using this feature and we realize that for each time they want to change it, a restart is. required.
This would not scale sufficiently in Dedicated, given the structure.
This issue is to understand the need for the restart and explore other options if any especially for this group of customers.
