[UX] Border of gl-avatar is too close to image and is showing up even with a circle avatar

The border applied by gl-avatar is making the logos fit strangely:

Even the circle logos are showing up with the rounded square border:

I think we should have a border for when there is no avatar and remove it when there is. Now that we have the catalog and can see all the logos in a list, you can see the borders:

If we remove the borders it looks better (logos would have to be centered more):
