Search page flickers no results -> results

Summary

I've noticed that sometimes you can see the search page flickering from no results to showing results without a page reload.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/gl-infra/k8s-workloads/gitlab-com
2. Perform a code search from the command palette. For example, "replicas:"

Search page flickers from no results to showing results

What is the expected correct behavior?

Search results are shown right away
