Trend chart that displays the count of CI/CD jobs run in a GitLab instance over time
Overview
Trend chart that displays the count of CI/CD jobs run in a GitLab instance over time.
Problem to solve
When professional services help customers drive the adoption of GitLab CI/CD, we tend to run automation that opens issues in each project with step-by-step instructions on how to build their pipeline (with references to CI templates available to them). We then help customer stakeholders (e.g., VP App Dev) track the status of those issues to have a leading indicator of CI adoption.
However, we currently do not have an easy way to pull reports at the instance level for the trends in CI/CD jobs executed in an organization over time. This type of metric/chart is a critical enabler to help organizations in their DevSecOps adoption journey.
