Problem to solve
I have a large SaaS, Ultimate customer that is requesting this feature (note of interest/use case):
"We want to send notifications for MR and pipeline status changes to Slack. We tried using a webhook. But it fails with a Response code 400 (no_text). Similar to #332611 (closed).
We want to make use of Gitlab for the Slack application but it doesn't provide options to disable triggering pipeline using Slack commands. We need the option to disable certain commands of the Slack GitLab app or an option to send notifications using Webhook."
Proposal
