Why strong_memoize_attr?

Follow-up from !102915 (comment 1751822553):

The MR description has a good description of what this change is, but not why. I was wondering if you knew the specific reason why strong_memoize_attr is better than strong_memoize. I don't see which boilerplate is involved in strong_memoize and I am not sure why there would be fewer opportunities for typos when it is a longer word!
