Oracle linux 8 or 9 support?

Hello, according to https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/administration/package_information/supported_os.html page - only OL7 is supported.

Our instance now using CentOS7 and its EOL is near, and we plan to move to OL (8 or 9), but is it supported?

Various news about Alma don't make them appealing for us, but looks like we should use Alma documentation: https://about.gitlab.com/install/#almalinux. Is it correct?
