I want to revert back to old navigation

Everyone can contribute. Help move this issue forward while earning points, leveling up and collecting rewards.

Current navigation is either wide, or hidden. Previous navigation bar had that narrow mode (icons only) which I was using all the time. Now I have to choose between being able to quickly jump over navigation or to have wide view of the content, but without navigation at all. I dislike that idea.
