Until now the agent for Kubernetes could be used only if the Kubernetes cluster could connect to the GitLab instance. This limitations did not allow some customers to use the agent. With this GitLab release, the cluster - GitLab connection can be initiated from either end. It is possible initialize the cluster connection from the GitLab end, assuming that a properly configured agentk instance is already waiting for a connection initialization.

Once the initial connection is established, all the features of the agent are functional. Starting the connection from the cluster remains untouched with this development.
