Cannot use project scope search for less than 3 chars

The search scope for a single project only appears when 3 or more characters are typed into the search field.
While this typically works fine for languages such as English, it may present some useability issues in other languages which can represent words with less characters.
e.g. Mandarin Chinese is represented by 2 characters 官话 meaning that the project search scope cannot be used to search for this phrase in isolation

This could pose usability issues for users depending on the context
Workaround: Add some additional white space padding to the search term 官话 does appear to help, but this may not work for all search criteria.
