User profile -> Groups takes >15 seconds to load or times out when user has too many groups

When a user has a large number of groups, the User profile -> Groups page has very slow loading times (more than 15 seconds for me) or even times out. This is due to the page having no pagination at all.

As the result is just a flat list of >500 groups without any way to search or filter, the resulting list is also pretty much useless for me, which might should be a separate issue.
