When deleting branches quickly using the UI, GitLab freezes.

Summary

Recently we had to delete many branches from our forked repositories. We were deleting these quite quickly but we found that GitLab kept freezing when we were doing this. We had to wait and refresh the page many times in order to complete the deletion.

GitLab keeps freezing when we were doing this. We had to wait and refresh the page many times in order to complete the deletion.

What is the expected correct behavior?

Branches should just delete without issue.
