Plan View for Releases MVC

Problem to solve

Release managers need to understand a release in context to other planned releases, projects, and past deployments. A key to planning would be able to see the upcoming releases across projects, groups, and environments in a calendar.

Intended users

Release management roles would benefit from this planning view:

• Parker (Product Manager)
• Delaney (Development Team Lead)
• Release manager/Director

Further details

As first iteration, we would display all the upcoming releases for a group in a calendar view with a link to View a release in the release page.

Second iteration would be filtering on releases

Third iteration would include hovering over a release for detail snapshot
