Generated line chart is missing required yAxis `type` value
Summary
When using the visualization designer to create a line chart and then save it, the saved chart is missing a required field, which means it will fail to display when used.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a line chart with visualization designer
- Save the line chart
- Include the new line chart in a custom dashboard
- Note the line chart fails to load
Example Project
This project contains an example.
Note that this is the commit that the visualization designer created. It would not load the chart as is. I had to add type: value
to the yAxis
block in this commit for it to display properly.

Possible fixes
- Make sure the visualization designer output complies with our visualization schema.
- Alternatively update the visualization schema to be more relaxed if the property is truly optional.
