Auto collapse Viewed files in merge request not working

Summary

In changes in a merge request where a large number of files (200+) are changed, an error occurs after clicking the Viewed property on the changed files after I refresh the page. Files with the Viewed property checked should be collapsed by default. The files at the beginning are collapsed, however from about 30 files onwards some are no longer collapsed.

Steps to reproduce

Make MR with many changed files and some first mark as Viewed and then refresh page.

What is the expected correct behavior?

All files marked like Viewed are collapsed.
