Gitlab provides the ability to order results by semantic version.

Would it make sense to describe what happens when there are tags that don't follow semver? For example, what if there are tags like "foobar", "abc", "xyz", "0123", "987" intermingled with stuff like "v1.2.3" and "v1.1.0". ?
