Problem to solve

The GitLab Ultimate feature Insights for groups only supports simple issuable_state: values like closed, merged and all. See our insights/default.yml examples.

However, a more relevant metric than the resulting raw numbers would be the backlog of items, for example calculated by opened - closed, etc. Similarly, VSA also "calculates the duration", from the raw timestamps.

Proposal

Implement a method to get the difference between two of the existing issuable_state: values.
