Backend - Instrumentation - Number of components that are used

Summary

To gauge how frequently components are being used, we need to add instrumentation to capture that information to better understand the adoption rate in CI Catalog.

Proposal

Create a metric for when components is getting used as it will help understand the rate of adoption. Collecting timestamps will provide valuable time series trends over time.

Additionally, tracking the number of unique users or namespaces that are using the input interpolations. This is already tracked in the Sisense dashboard which could have been just a timing issue between when that widget was created vs when this issue was created in mid-May.

1. The number of time components are used -> already exists
2. Unique users/namespaces/org (one of them is sufficient) that using components
