Deprecactions list: too long, did skim, but it made my eyes hurt

Describe what you would like to see improved.

Really really needs an index for such looooooooong lists of deprecations. For super cow bonus points, organizing them even roughly by topic would be awesome, allowing me to skip vast swaths of changes that I don't care about (which for right now turned out to be all of them. I think. Hopefully my glazed-over eyes didn't miss something...)

tl;dr: this is still better than that other git-place where they just yank the rug from under you without warning. :-/
