Can't paste raw GitLab links in content editor

Description
For example, I'd like to paste https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/21916#note_1331890764 and surround it by ` to put it into a code block. In other web apps, this would be accomplished by Cmd+Shift+V, however, anytime I paste it in the WYSIWYG editor, it modifies it to the shortlink style.
