In content editor, pasting links has a long delay before being visible and if you keep typing, you insert text before the link

Description
For example, pasting https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/21916#note_1331890764 results in delay of about a second before the link is visible, and if I keep typing during the delay, text is inserted in an unexpected place.
Possible Solution
Use a loader to reduce the perceived load time.
