Simplify editing shortcuts to projects and groups

In the context switcher, users must turn on edit mode before removing a link from their frequently visited list.

Proposal

Allow links to be removed with a single interaction. Note: how much of the UI will have been refactored depends on #405035 (comment 1344593421)
