Adjust transition of expanding and collapsing in the navigation sidebar

Problem to solve

Expanding and collapsing can feel a bit sluggish at the moment.

Use a linear fade in 100ms from opacity: 0 → 1 and a linear transition of 100ms when expanding an collapsing.
