Validation: Alerts for Releases

Problem Statement

During deployments to various environments, notifications and alerts would be helpful to solicit action from others in an organization. Some areas we need to better understand are:

• when alerts should be notifying
• if a to do should be assigned
• what permissions should be able to act on certain environments for which an environment notification was sent

10.0 = Impacts the vast majority (~80% or greater) of our users, prospects, or customers.

Impact

Alerts and notifications are common offerings in all workflow tools, CICD and deployment management is no different - offering this would have a 2.0 = High impact.

Confidence

Being able to be notified on major events is definitely important, and therefore this is certainly a pain point at 100% = High confidence.
