Set the status back to pending on retry

Follow up from comment &8516 (comment 1247013819)

The Retry button does not set the status back to pending, making it impossible to tell if the retry has run and failed again, or if it's still displaying the failure from the first attempt. I feel that it would be better if we set it back to pending so that the user can tell that clicking on retry actually worked.
