Create a better test coverage for Container Registry events

We recently found a bug when Registry could not fire notification events with newly pushed/removed container images #386389 (closed) to prevent this kind of bug we need to improve the test coverage. Given that this involves an external service (registry) we probably need to implement this on the QA tests level. Any suggestions @geo-team ?
