Problem to solve

As new contributors (internal or external) begin exploring adding a new integration at GitLab, we'd like to provide some automated guidance to share the latest information about how to get started.

Proposal

• When a new issue is labeled with Category:Integrations, have an automated comment that links users to relevant resources, such as our Integrations Development Guide
• When a team internally is creating a new MR touching our codebase (or that may be related to new integrations), respond with an automated comment providing links to relevant resources.
• When a team internally is creating a new MR touching our codebase (or that may be related to new integrations), add a label that allows our team to easily track active internal contributions.
