Docs - product feedback: Problem detected when trying to link namespaces

I have detected that Private namespaces do not show up when searching for them to be linked. Step 6 here https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/integration/jira/connect-app.html#install-the-gitlabcom-for-jira-cloud-app

I do not know if it is a pre-requirement that is not published here or it is a bug/problem. I have opened this ticket in the forum https://forum.gitlab.com/t/from-gitlab-jira-cloud-app-i-cannot-link-private-namespaces/78767

Steps:

1. Gitlab: Create private namespace, a group for example
2. Jira: Enter manage app menu, sign in to Gitlab and click on “Add namespace” button
3. A new window is opened.
4. Type your group name. No results
5. Type the whole group url, https://gitlab.com/…
6. No result is shown
7. Gitlab: Change the group characteristic, from private to public
8. Repeat steps is Jira
9. The group is found!!!
10. Gitlab: Revert group status to private
11. Repeat steps is Jira
12. No result is shown
