Value Stream Dashboard: Adding OKR Health status to the metrics comparison panel.

Problem to solve

Once GitLab OKRs are GA, the Executive will need visibility and alignment between teams performance and OKRs.

MVC Proposal - visualize OKR health status over time:

  1. Add a new OKRs comparison widget with the OKR Health status:

  1. The table will be for health not for metrics.
  2. From the widget user can drill down into the issue list - example.
  3. OKR's history is out of scope for this MVC.
  4. Next will be to filter this widget with labels.

Next iterations:

  1. Adding OKRs history.
  2. The widget can be filtered by labels - e.g. ~ceo ~product ~engineering.
  3. The widget can track OKRs progress overtime.

  2. Each metrics with OKR tracking will be highlighted with the OKR badge.
  3. Add drill-down from the OKR badge to the OKR - Summary view.
