The build status badge does not show

I have noticed since some hours ago that the green (or red) badge indicating the build status of the projects has switched to a "build_text " text link.

This has happened for all of my project, updated recently or not, and is happening as well for previous versions when going back in the repository history to commits where Iḿ sure this was working.

I was using markdown like the following for the badge:

[![build status](https://gitlab.com/elcortegano/metapop2/badges/master/build.svg)](https://gitlab.com/elcortegano/metapop2/commits/master)

It can be seen that the link to the badge results in a 404 error: "The page could not be found or you don't have permission to view it.".

At the time of opening this issue, all gitlab systems (https://status.gitlab.com/) seem to be operational.
