delete environments using CI

Proposal
We would love to see that Gitlab will add functionality to delete environments, ideally in pipeline syntax (yaml).
For us, especially environments that are only meant to live for the duration of a branch, after an MR is merged, it would be great to see the environment be removed, or to have the option to do so.
Customer requested this via a support ticket and their CSM. Links for GitLab team members: Zendesk, SF.
It's possible to script removing environments, which is what the customer has done.
If it can be done with CI, then users can do it themselves.
