Advanced code search cannot search for exact strings containing special characters

I tried to search for "BaseBlockBuilder(" (with the quotation marks) in chromaway org, expecting to find exact matches of BaseBlockBuilder( (the word BaseBlockBuilder followed by an opening parenthesis). But I get several matches of BaseBlockBuilder not followed by an opening parenthesis, and no matches of BaseBlockBuilder followed by an opening parenthesis.
