Atlassian SSO omniauth

Summary

I cant create a new user via omnibus_atlassian_ouath2

Steps to reproduce

  • create gitlab instance
  • install omniauth_attlassian_oauth2 driver
  • create atlassian app to authenticate
  • try to register as a new user in gitlab instance via SSO

What is the current bug behavior?

I configured the gitlab instance to use auth via omnibus atlassian SSO. If i want to log in via SSO with an existing user, its still fine. But if a non existing user try to sign in to create a new account it doesnt work. I get an 500. I share the sentry link with you

This mechanic worked in the past. Its possible that its broken since the update from the latest 14.x to 15.x version

What is the expected correct behavior?

I expect that a non existing user signs in via atlassain SSO and a new gitlab user will be created without an error message.
