The Notifications switch and Reference link are sometimes invisible, below the foot of the scroll bar-less sidebar
Summary
After not using GitLab for a while, I could not find the option to notify.
Steps
- View e.g. #20166 (closed) in Firefox or Waterfox Classic
Current bug behaviour
- the Notifications switch is invisible
Expected correct behaviour
Wherever content is too tall for a given area:
- a vertical scroll bar.

- discover the Reference feature below the Notifications switch.
Thoughts
Does this bug occur only where a relatively large number of labels apply?
Where there are many labels, it becomes necessary to zoom out three times or more. This is true for #13638 (closed) where reduction to 80% is not enough, even with Firefox in full screen mode (HP EliteBook 8570p):
– 67% brings things into view but then, texts are uncomfortably small and there are wastes of space (the white columns):
After escaping from full screen, 67% is not enough:
– down to 50% brings the References link into view, but texts are barely legible (YMMV):
I vaguely recall finding this bug, or something like it, long ago. Maybe years. Can't find a matching bug today amongst open or closed issues, if this is a duplicate: apologies.
