Hierarchical organization of personal projects

I have created a group for my personal projects so that I can organize them by subgroup, this is purely for organizational purposes because my eyes glaze over when I would go to Personal Projects, however now none of the projects are recognized as personal projects, even though I own the group and I am the owner of the projects in the group and all subgroups. I understand this is because the name space is not my username. Could we have some way to hierarchically organize personal projects and still show them in Personal Projects and shown with the hierarchy? Perhaps there is already a way to do this, and if so, sorry for wasting your time but I could not determine how to do it.
