GitHub importer - initial sync status of mirrored project shows up incorrectly if the process errors out

When creating a mirror of GitHub project in GitLab results in error, the status shown is incorrect - it appears to be complete and successful when it is actually incomplete.

Steps to reproduce

Before fixing Mirrored project with LFS files returns Object ... (#217925 - closed)

1. Mirror https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/Graphics
2. Clone it on to your local machine
3. Run git lfs fetch --all

After it's fixed, not sure how to reproduce it.

What is the current bug behavior?

The mirror status received from initial sync appears to be complete and successful, when it is actually incomplete.

What is the expected correct behavior?

We should show the actual status of the initial sync correctly.
