Audit Reports

What this means for GitLab

The Release Command center is a view we do not have in GitLab. This is a great tool that allows for coordination, tracking and evaluation of release progress and health across your pipelines. We will be incrementally tackling this as a part of improvements to the Environment Dashboard and CICD Director Dashboard.

Enforcement of compliance is made easier with an interface that allows users to add manual and automated approval gates - rather than it being in a pipeline view via yml.

Audit reports are more mature than our offering, although, it is quickly approaching viability in ~"Category:Audit Reports". A key priority will be making both Release Evidence and Audit Reports human readable.
