Support Metrics comparison with previous time periods (1d, 1w)

Problem to solve

Allow Operations to compare metrics with the same range in previous periods. Generally yesterday and last week are the most useful.

Metrics data is more useful when it can be consumed in context. It's very useful to know if a particular is different now than in a previous period.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

Success would be measured by the uptake of this feature. Grafana requires you create a separate query for yesterday or last week - this feature would make our metrics easier to use than Grafana
